Still Nothing Yet

Sorry folks nothing yet. Things have been rather busy for the last couple of months. Still haven't found work yet; which has been damaging quite a few of my plans. On the plus side I've started studying for my A+ certification. Well at least the first part anyway. Studying has been rough though. There is a lot of material and sadly I'm a slow reader haha.

In other new the Class of 2009 for CompuCollege and Eastern Trades had it's graduation ceremony last night. I of course was there. I didn't win anything, boo! But luckily a couple of my friends one some awards, so my congrats go to them.

With that I hope people start following this, maybe I can use facebook in some way to grab some attention. Anywho I'm out. I need to start playing some of my new games today.

Enjoy the little things,

Yay

Hey internet,

My friend Josh is getting married today, and I'm pretty stoked because afterwards I'll begin the process of reviewing agian. I think I'll stick to my old style of just using text. The other way is nice, but too messy and unorganized looking.

OHGR: Forza Motorsport 2

Nick here with a new OHGR review today. It has certainly been awhile since the Saints Row 2 review, but I have gathered my thoughts and hopefully I can give you the reader more of a pleasant experience.

motorsport2 box art

Yup pictures yay!

I have been playing Forza 2 off and on for sometime now, and I must say I have enjoyed the game quite a bit. From just the box art that Forza 2 shows promise. I appreciate the amount of detail that went into the box art , and just looking at it makes me want to play it.

The graphics are absolutely splendid. The sheer amount of detail the put into the game is outstanding. Though not as graphically pleasing as say Sony PS3’s Gran Tourismo 5 prologue, The 360 shows that it can produce high quality graphics that will please everyone.

Game play wise Forza 2 is very much like Gran Tourismo. It’s a simulation style racing game, so you’re not going to be able to breeze through turns like you would in games such as Project Gotham Racing 4 or Ridge Racer 7, and honestly I enjoy the simulated feel a lot more then the arcade style we see in many of the racing games today. Every race is a new challenge, and every win feels rightfully so.

Luckily for me; being quite the racing game newby. The game is nice enough to have a line that tells you when you may want to break or decelerate.

What I find the most fascinating about Forza 2 is its insane attention to detail. If it’s car relate you can pretty much do what ever to your vehicles; which by the way is gargantuan.

Anyway here’s a trailer demonstrating the physics and damage.

And here’s another showing a fraction of customization.

Yeah I really don’t know if the customization looks like that…I just thought it was cool :P.  Nonetheless Forza 2 is a fantastic game and anyone that is into this kind of stuff will get a kick out it.

Anywho I’d like to the Gametrailers for the wonderful trailers and IGN for the screenshot, as well Google images for the box art. These things belong to the respective owners I’m just using them to express my point.

With that thanks for reading and stay tuned for any new stuff from me it could come at anytime.

Faded dreams…for now

It seems my conquest for self employment has gone the way of Final Fantasy VIII plot. It sounded great in my head, but in the end it was a heap of fail and pointless fantasy.

Also in sad news. My WoW subscription ends tomorrow, and currently being unemployed means quite a bit of progress will be lost until I acquire a card.

In better news…I guess. I finished Fallout 3’s 3rd expansion Broken Steel. Honestly it was just as short as the others, but just as entertaining.

Right now I’m unsure if I will continue OHGR. I just haven’t felt like writing as of late, and I’m really beginning to wonder if it is even worth the time.

With that keep gaming.

The Beginning of Something Big

Still no review, but there is indeed a reason behind it. I’ve come up with an idea. A very crazy and remarkable idea. I’m going to own my own business. As insane as that may sound it is something I want to do, a dream a want to mold into a reality. What kind of business you may ask? A game store. I love video games and being my own boss means I can’t really yell at myself:P

I don’t have a name yet, and as a matter of fact I don’t even have a business plan yet. I’m totally new to this stuff, but I feel like I can do this.
